Galleries & Collections
The MSC houses many enriching and fascinating points of interest.
MSC Forsyth Center Galleries
As the home of the Bill ('35) & Irma Runyon Art Collections, the galleries house one of the world's most extraordinary collections of English Cameo Glass, American and English glass objects, and American paintings including important works by Mary Cassatt, Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell. The galleries also feature rotating exhibits and American Cut Glass Association collections. They are located on the first floor across from the post office.

J. Wayne Stark University Center Galleries
These large galleries are located on the Rudder Fountain side of the MSC Flag Room. Typically, exhibits change every 6-8 weeks. Call (979)845-6081 for more information.
Visual Arts Gallery
The student Visual Arts Committee brings several exhibits each year to their gallery on the second floor of the MSC at the start of the skywalk to Rudder Tower. Call (979)845-9251 for more information.
The L.T. Jordan Collection
The Jordan Collection provides insight into various cultures through the "universal language" of art. Numerous areas of the world represented in the Collection include Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Located in MSC 223I (inside the Student Programs Office), you may arrange a free tour by calling (979)845-8770.
Wood Carvings
Six A&M Centennial wood carvings by Sue and Rodney Hill were unveiled in 1976. A seventh wood carving was installed in 1998 as a gift of the Class of '93 project. This detailed carvings depicting A&M life and tradition are located in the first floor east hallway adjoining the Flag Room.
Buck Schiwetz Lounge
Edward Muegge "Buck" Schiwetz '21 exhibited in numerous national watercolor shows and one-man shows, and received a vast number of awards for his works as well as his contributions to Texas and its history and culture. The first floor lounge by the MSC Main Desk is home to many excellent examples of his work.
Class of 1985 Endowed Collection

Medal of Honor Recipients
The columns of the north hallway (looking out onto Simpson Drill Field) feature seven Aggies who served during World War II and received the Congressional Medal of Honor. The plaques include their pictures, specimen medals and brief explanations of their heroic efforts.
