The Memorial Student Center provides many locations to promote campus events to the large number of people who visit the building daily.

Main Hallway Banners - Banner spaces may be reserved through the SPO Services Island up to 28 days in advance of the initial day of the requested period. Dimensions for Indoor Banners are 21 feet long by 3 feet wide. Banners can be prepared (painted, glued, etc.) in the MSC Banner Room Map (located just left of Rumours Coffeehouse). A banner room key may be checked out from the MSC Hotel Desk. A ladder is available in the facilities closet (left of the post office) to put your banner up. Call 845-1515 for more information.

MSC Display Cases - Display cases on the walls of the first floor hallways and free-standing kiosks in the second floor hallways may be reserved through the SPO Services Island. Two of the kiosks have computer monitors that may be reserved for repeating PowerPoint presentations. Call 845-1515 for more information.

MSC Bulletin Boards - All flyers must be approved by the SPO Services Island before they can be placed on bulletin boards in the MSC. Bulletin boards do not require reservation, but all materials must receive the MSC stamp of approval before being posted to bulletin boards within the MSC. Call 845-1515 for more information.

Tables in Main Hallway - A concessions permit application (whether or not you are going to sell anything) must be picked up from Student Activities (845-1133). Then availability of table space must be confirmed by Becky Stratta in the Services and Scheduling Office (845-1311) on the second floor of Rudder Tower. They will in turn sign the concessions permit that you must then return to Student Activities. It is your responsibility to then bring an approved copy of your permit to the Scheduling and Services Office. Be sure the approved copy is in this office at least 24 hours in advance of the desired activities. If an approved copy of your permit has not been provided, a table will not be placed in the MSC or the fountain area for you. If you have any questions, please call 845-1311.

"Table Tents" (stand-up flyers on dining facility tables) - Requires approval from the Food Services facility manager. Contact Food Services in advance of preparing your materials to ensure they meet their requirements.

Outside Sandwich Boards - A sandwich board display permit application must be used to obtain approval. After appropriate signatures are obtained, the form is to be turned in to the Department of Student Activities which will issue a Sandwich Board Display permit. Call 845-1133 for more information.
